Within a
short drive from our cottage you will discover a rustic
beach. This has been
largely undiscovered by tourists, so even in the height of
the summer season it remains un-crowded and unspoilt. The
views are magnificent and wildlife is in abundance. Even
if the weather is not as sunny as expected, wrap up warm
and take a trip down to the beach, you will have hours of
fun collecting shells, I have yet to discover another
beach with so many shells to collect, children will love
it!!
Watch
the locals digging for 'fruits de la mer' or have a go
yourself.
Also short distance away
(approx 12km) are the D-Day landing beaches of Omaha and
Utah, where the sandy beach stretch for miles. |
